This view is from the front door. I am standing in
the foyer. It has a vaulted ceiling, fireplace, 1
window (back left corner) and access to the
screened in porch. That is Daniel stretched out
in his chair (to the left front). Just beyond the wall
on the right is one entry way into the kitchen.

EXPLANATION
Kitchen view taken from the entry way near
foyer and living room. (Excuse the mess)
When the garage gets cleaned up more the
second refrigerator will go out there. Behind
the bi-folding doors is our washer and dryer.
The kitchen also has a vaulted ceiling.
This view is from the door leading to the garage.
The opening on the left is to the living room and the
opening on the right is to the dining room. Another
feature that I like is the wall above the lighting does
not go to the ceiling. It makes the kitchen feel bigger.
Dining room view, taken from the living room
back door. Just beyond the opening on the
right, is the second entry way into the kitchen.
This is our breakfast nook. It currently is the
home for Dan's chair. 90% of our light
comes from this window.
Another view of the dining room. The window
on the left will be taken out once Dan's room is
built. There are still boxes cluttering this room.
We just added these curtains this morning (September 25, 2005) Our theme is starting to
come together. The photo on the right is the upclose shot of what is on the curtains.
Our First Home
Here are the photos of our home. It is 1525 square feet and we absolutely love it! When the pictures
were taken the house was not immaculate (some items are still trying to find permanent homes) and some
times the flash had issues. At the time we were still painting and decorating. The theme for the kitchen
is Chefs. I will do my best to describe the photos and walk you through the house.
We have also started the process of getting a room built for Dan that is fully wheelchair accessible. It is
going to be 18' x 20', complete with a full bathroom and lift through out. We are still in the consulting
stages so it is going to be a while before work begins.
I hope you enjoy the pictures of the house.
The window on the left,
that has the arch
above it, is currently
Daniel's and Wil's
room. To the right of
this window, behind
the Crepe Myrtle tree,
is is Kairstin's room.
Diagonally to the right
of her room is our
room. And across
from her room is the
bathroom.
As you walk through
the purple (soon to
change) door, through
the foyer and make a
left, you will enter the
hallway that leads to
our room, Kairstin's
room, the bathroom,
the linen closet, and
finally the boys' room.
Back to the
foyer. Of course the
living room is what you
enter first. Off the
living room is the
dining room (this is an
open floor plan.) The
kitchen is accessible
from the living room
and the dining room.
From the kitchen, there
is a pass through to
the living room and a
seperate one for the
dining room.
