September 2, 2007 It is hard to believe that we are 1/2 way through the year.  We are 2 days into hurricane season and TS Barry has already come and gone.  I sure hope you guys up north don't get too soaked as he moves his way up the east coast.   The year has been a busy one for us.  We had to nurse Harley Girl back to health.  She was diagnosed with heartworms back in February and we had to go through the treatment process.  For 2 months she had to be taken out on a leash and wasn't allowed to play with toys or get excited.  But she seems to have fully recovered.   At the beginning of May we added 2 hermit crabs to our family (they are Wil's pets).  They don't have names since we don't even know there sex.  Heck, we barely even see them moving.  I have managed to catch a few shots of them though. About 2 days after we got them, we added 2 kittens to the family.  We seem to like things in twos.  Unlike the crabs, they have names.  Garfield Pretty Boy (D.J.'s cat) and Princess Precious (KK's cat).                     I wanted to get DJ a kitten that he could bond with and give love to.  When he tries to give Harley love, you can't even see DJ.  That's bad considering DJ weighs about 180 pounds now.  I am happy to report that all the animals get along well with each other.   Work is going good for me.  I will be there one year in July.  I get along so good with the ladies there.  It is nice to be able to talk about kids, husbands, and doctors. William is still working at Homegoods.  He has been getting a lot of good comments about his work.   I graduated May 4th from FCCJ with my A.A.  I have been trying since last October to get into UNF but my app seems to be getting misplaced.  Now they tell me that my Financial Aid app wasn't received.  I plan to be back in the classroom by September.
